Medford Water is seeking a temporary Water Conservation Technician intern to join our team!
This seasonal position assists the Water Efficiency Specialist and Water Resources Coordinator with various projects, including conducting water use evaluations with focus on outdoor use. Helps customers identify the water needs of plants in their yard, determine the effectiveness of their sprinkler system and educate them about water management strategies for reducing outdoor water use while maintaining a healthy landscape. Also assists with rebate programs and other projects as assigned.
Period of Employment
June through September 2023; exact dates to be determined based on availability and need. Selected candidate could start as early as April if schedule allows; flexible schedule of 30 - 40 hours per week. Work hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Possible variations occasionally to accommodate customers.
Compensation & Benefits
$17.00 per hour
