As the weather cools and rains pick up, scheduled watering is no longer necessary (try spot watering if needed).
Our lawn watering recommendations are suspended until the 2026 watering season, but we do recommend winterizing your system BEFORE freezing weather hits! Get tips at medfordwater.org/winterizing.

🎉 Earlier this week, we celebrated the completion of the Robert A. Duff Water Treatment Plant Expansion Project! This project increased the plant`s capacity to produce drinking water from 45 to 65 million gallons per day (MGD), as well as complete conveyance improvements necessary to deliver the 65 MGD into our system.
It represents years of planning, collaboration, and investment in the future of our region’s water supply, and we are proud to share this milestone achievement with our community! bit.ly/48MjHW0

#TipOfTheWeek
Consider aerating your lawn yearly, generally in the spring or fall. It reduces soil compaction, increases air exchange, and allows water to infiltrate into the soil quicker.

It`s the last week of #nationalpreparednessmonth; do you know your water needs? For a 2 week supply, start with 1 gallon per person per day for drinking, cooking, and hygiene. You may need more than that if your family includes people with special needs (e.g. pregnant women or infants) or if you have pets.
