Our water-wise tip of the week for the week of August 31, 2026:
Monday will be warm, but the rest of the week is predicted to drop into the high 70s or low 80s, with chances of rain on Wednesday and Thursday. It’s time to cut back on sprinkler run times now that the days are shorter and the weather has cooled; plants need less moisture than they did before. Also regularly inspect for leaks in hoses and irrigation lines to prevent water waste.
By applying only the water your landscape needs, you’ll save water (and help preserve this valuable resource), and save money on your water bill too!
