Need a helping hand? At one point or another, we all need a little help. If you are struggling financially, you are not alone; Medford Water recognizes that customers may experience financial hardships that limit the ability to pay their water bill.
In addition to payment arrangements and other flexible payment options, we provide annual grants to The Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, and ACCESS for water bill payment assistance to qualifying low-income families. If you are having difficulty paying your water bill, give any one of these agencies a call; they may be able to help you.
The Salvation Army: (541) 772-8149
ACCESS: (541) 779-6691
St. Vincent de Paul: (541) 772-3828
Applicant screening and disbursement of funds are handled by each agency. Eligibility for water bill payment assistance is generally determined by each agency using 60 percent of estimated Oregon State Median Income figures; see the Oregon State Median Income figures for FFY 2025 here. Be sure to contact the agencies for more information on qualifying income and to verify.
To avoid an interruption in your water service, there must be an active and up-to-date payment agreement with Medford Water on your account. If you want more information on the agencies, bill payment assistance, and other payment options, contact our Customer Service Team at (541) 774-2430 or customerservice@medfordwater.org.
