A Message Regarding COVID-19 and Our Commitment to Safety

Medford Water Commission’s highest priority is keeping our employees, customers, and contractors/vendors safe and well-informed amid concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). In the current environment, it’s important for all of us to monitor the rapidly evolving situation.

We appreciate the trust you place in us and our people whenever we do business together. In an effort to reduce the risk of contracting and/or transmitting the virus, we are asking our customers, contractors, and vendors to use our many online and telephone options rather than doing business in person.

Some alternatives to consider:
We will continue working hard to provide the level of service you have come to expect from our staff, and as a precaution we will be taking several steps to help mitigate against possible adverse impacts within our organization as well.

We remind everyone to practice everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including but not limited to avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, cover your cough or sneeze, washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, and maintaining personal space between yourself and others.

Lastly, if our employees are required to visit your locations as part of their work activities, please let us know if there any specific instructions or policies your company may have put in place for COVID-19 so that we can be best prepared to cooperate with them.

See our information about COVID-19, such as symptoms and ways to help prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses here, and to stay up to date with the latest COVID-19 recommendations and news by going to:

While some of these measures may seem inconvenient, they are being taken as a precaution to keep you all safe. It is presently unclear how long these restrictions will remain in place, but we will continue to reevaluate and communicate regularly as the situation evolves.

Thank you again for your understanding and cooperation during this challenging time.
