Water Supply Outlook Page to Stay Updated Through October
- August 12, 2026 | Category: Water Resources, Your Water
As the summer landscape watering season comes to a close and the weather cools, our Water Supply Outlook page at
medfordwater.org/watersupply still features information on our current water supply production and demand, regional water conditions, water supply FAQs, and more. It will remain updated through October, to keep our customers informed about water supply conditions and drought.
The page was launched in May 2026 to keep our customers informed about water supply conditions and drought. It features information on our water supply production and demand, regional water conditions, water supply FAQs, and what customers can do to use our resources wisely.

Despite the drought conditions in our county, Medford Water’s sources are still supplying a sufficient amount of water to support the water needs of all the communities we serve. Our ability to supply water from two different sources (primary source Big Butte Springs and secondary source the Rogue River) helps to not only maintain reliability, but also redundancy if one source were to diminish. Efficient management and careful monitoring of these sources helps us to continue serving our community when dry conditions develop.
Our water resources are precious, and we should all be mindful of how we are using our water. Any customers interested in understanding how much water they use and how to be most efficient are encouraged to reach out to us at 541-774-2430 or go to the Water Efficiency tab of our website to participate in the many programs we offer to help reduce unnecessary water use.
