Prescription Drug Take Back Day – Saturday, May 2nd, 2026

Keep them safe.
Clean them out.
Take them back.

The improper disposal of unused medications is a major threat to water quality. Medications that are flushed down the toilet or thrown in the trash can make their way to our drinking water sources and harm aquatic life and our community. It can also lead to accidental poisoning, misuse, and overdose.

Help us avoid contamination of our waterways and keep our community safer and healthier. On May 2nd, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., we encourage you to bring your unused or unwanted medications to the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at the Medford City Hall parking lot, safely and anonymously.
