Have You Seen the Signs?

You know what they say…Teamwork makes the dream work! Through our collaborative partnership with the U.S. Forest Service-Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, we’ve replaced the signs along the Butte Falls Fish Lake Highway that mark the upper and lower boundaries of the Big Butte Springs watershed.

This watershed is where our primary drinking water source—Big Butte Springs—is located, serving Medford and the surrounding communities (approximately 150,000 residents of the Rogue Valley) cool, clean water year-round. High Cascades Ranger District and Medford Water staff worked together to replace the signs, and we are proud to co-manage this land along with them to help safeguard this pristine resource.
