4th Annual Calendar Contest Underway
- September 11, 2025 | Category: Water Efficiency
This week, Medford Water began our 4th annual calendar contest for students in the Medford School District and White City, to pique an interest in water conservation in the everyday lives of students in grade school. Our staff visits each participating school class, and prompts 4th grade students at these schools to think about what water means to them and why it is important to conserve, and to create an illustration based on this idea.
The top 12 submissions are selected to be published in a wall calendar, and the top three of those also receive some great prizes, all sponsored by Medford Water. Prizes are awarded in December, and the calendars are presented to the winners and the participating classes in January (they will also be available in our office for free). View the 2025 calendar here.
This is an inspiring event that we look forward to every year; thank you to all the participating teachers, students, and vendors that make this contest possible. We are proud to serve a community that values water in many ways.
