Notification of Backflow Event

Medford Water experienced an irrigation backflow event from May 21, 2025, to July 14, 2025. Based upon numerous water quality samples, there were no indications of unsafe water in the water distribution system during the event, and the Oregon Health Authority was consulted and helped guide the proper resolution of this incident. Medford Water remains committed to providing the highest quality drinking water to its customers and takes water quality issues seriously.
