Medford Water Commission requires contractor prequalification every two years for private contractor waterline projects, every year for service installations, and separate prequalification for Water Commission projects.
Waterline prequalification consists of submitting the standard State of Oregon Prequalification form with an attached sheet specifically for Water Commission information. Included in the State form is a page requiring notarization.
Services prequalification includes the application as well as an interview and testing by appointment. These applications are only processed once a year usually in February.
Contractors wishing to bid on Commission projects must submit prequalification forms before the prequalification deadline. These may be the standard forms or forms specifically designed for the project and included in the bid documents.
