The Water Quality Grant Program provides assistance to others that want to implement an on-the-ground water quality improvement project anywhere within the Commission’s Rogue River watershed.  The program is designed to:  1)  Provide local match funds for state and federal grants;  2)  Leverage our dollars;  3)  Provide incentives for others to complete projects that improve water quality; and  4)  Develop partnerships with entities within our watershed that affect water quality.

The Commission budgets $10,000 a year and hopes to fund one or two projects a year.  Currently, funding is based on a first-come, first-serve basis with no specific deadlines for applications. This may change in the future as more applications are received.  Applications must meet all requirements and undergo a review process before being funded.
