World Water Day - March 22, 2023
Wednesday, March 22nd, is World Water Day, a day to celebrate water and raise awareness of the 2 billion people living without access to safe water. This year's theme is accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis.

In 2015, the United Nations adopted Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6---that by 2030 everyone would have safely managed water and sanitation. Billions of people still lack access to these rights, and it is the goal of this campaign to accelerate that change---to go beyond “business as usual”. Water affects everyone, and everyone can take action. You and your family, school, and community can make a difference by changing the way you use, consume and manage water in your lives.

We work to protect and efficiently use our valuable water resources because we know the value that water provides us every day. We are devoted to this work and collaborate with our many local and regional partners to get the job done. It is our Vision to be the Rogue Valley’s trusted municipal water provider for present and future generations, through responsible stewardship, accountability, and the pursuit of excellence.
