City of Medford Drug Take Back & “Rogue Shred” Event - April 27, 2019
Help us avoid contamination of Oregon's waterways!
The Medford Police Department will host a Drug Take Back & “Rogue Shred” Event on Saturday, April 27, 2019 to provide a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of your unwanted, unused or outdated prescription medications for free. Improper disposal of unused medications is a major threat to water quality. Medications that are flushed down the toilet or thrown in the trash can make it's way to our rivers and harm acquatic life and our community. It can lead to accidental poisoning, misuse, and overdose.
Rogue Disposal & Recycling Inc. will be on hand to conduct a free shred event. This service provides an opportunity for citizens to securely shred personal documents to reduce the potential of becoming a victim of identity theft.
NOTE: Shred event is limited to four paper grocery sacks per vehicle.
