Medford Water Commission - REQUEST FOR BIDS: Willow Basket Tree Sale BBS Watershed

Notice is hereby given that the Medford Water Commission (Water Commission), by and through its Board of Water Commissioners, shall receive sealed bids endorsed: Willow Basket Tree Sale Big Butte Springs Watershed at the offices of the Water Commission, 200 S. Ivy St., Room 177, Medford, Oregon 97501, on July 11, 2018 by no later than 12:00 noon. Bids will be required to be completed on the bid sheet and submitted to Craig Harper, Watershed Administrator, at the Medford Water Commission at the above address. All bids shall be filed for public inspection following the bid opening. All labor, equipment, and other material, unless noted otherwise, shall be furnished by the Contractor. In order to assure consideration, bids must be submitted on the Water Commission's contract document. Bid documents may be reviewed and obtained at the offices of the Water Commission or by telephone: 541-774-2442 or here. Facsimile (FAX) proposals are not acceptable. Bids will be opened shortly following bid closure time and date. Award will be made early the week of July 16, following review by the Water Commission. A voluntary, pre-bid conference and site inspection is scheduled for Friday, June 29, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., at the Butte Falls Community Hall, Oak St. and Main St., Butte Falls, Oregon 97522. There will be only one pre-bid conference. Statements made by the Commission’s representatives at the conference that depart from the bid documents are not binding upon the Water Commission unless confirmed by written addendum. Addenda, if any, will be posted to the website. A draft sample contract is provided for review by prospective bidders. Bidders are encouraged to examine the sample contract and the harvest area to become aware of special contract and site conditions. Bids will be required to be filled in on the bid sheet and submitted to Craig Harper at the Medford Water Commission at the above address. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Bid due date is July 11, 2018 by no later than 12:00 noon. Bids will be opened shortly following bid closure time and date. The Commission may cancel the procurement or reject any or all bids in accordance with ORS 279B.100. The contract will be evaluated and awarded based on best value to the Commission, as demonstrated by the bid form, type and serviceability of logging equipment, availability of personnel, and ability to perform effectively and on schedule.
