NOTICE: Water Service Interruption - Calle Vista Dr., Windgate St., Sunleaf Ave. 08/24/17
Water service for a portion of Calle Vista Drive, Windgate Street, and Sunleaf Avenue will be disrupted between 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Thursday, August 24, 2017. This work includes three tie-ins, utilizing two crews to expedite work.
WHEN: Thursday, August 24, 2017 - 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
WHERE: A portion of Calle Vista Drive, Windgate Street, and Sunleaf Avenue (see map below of highlighted properties); affected customers will be notified today.
IMPACTS: Water service will be out and street access in the immediate area may also be impacted.
Following are some examples of measures that affected customers might take to accommodate being without water service:
- Finish water-using activities before 8:00 a.m. on the day of the outage
- Place pitcher(s) of water in the refrigerator for drinking, etc.
- Pouring water into toilet bowls from buckets placed nearby will enable you to clear toilets
Affected customers can let their inside cold water faucets run for several minutes after service is restored, to clear any dislodged particles or air in the pipeline. As always, we attempt to minimize the inconvenience related to pipeline shutdowns, and sincerely appreciate the patience of impacted customers.
